Charlie Munger, Prominent Attorney and Investor, 1924-2023

Charles T. Munger, renowned for leaving a promising legal career to join forces with Warren E. Buffett, passed away on November 28, in Santa Barbara, California, at the age of 99.

Together, Munger and Buffett reshaped a once-floundering East Coast textile business into the exceptionally prosperous investment powerhouse, Berkshire Hathaway, with Munger often serving as the source of memorable maxims during their journey. 

Munger was also an instrumental attorney, practicing various areas of the law, including employment, labor, business and related impactful practices and procedures, that - through his legal work and advocacy - have shaped the business world and will continue forward for generations.  Investor and philanthropist Charlie Munger founded Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP, a full-service law firm and was the longtime chairman of various entities leaves a significant and impactful legacy.
